Abstract
This study aims to analyze the influence of fuel prices and transaction volume on the income of online transportation drivers in Makassar City. The background to this study stems from the rapid development of technology, including online transportation technology. This study employed quantitative methods using primary data obtained from questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The sample size in this study was simple random sampling, with a sample size of 100 online transportation drivers in Makassar City. The data analysis technique was multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS software. The results of the regression analysis indicate that the effect of fuel prices on online transportation drivers' income is negative and significant, with a significance value of 0.017 and a coefficient of determination of -0.265, indicating that increasing fuel prices will reduce online transportation drivers' income. The effect of the number of transactions on online transportation drivers' income is positive and significant at 0.001, with a coefficient of determination of 0.107. Therefore, increasing the number of transactions effectively increases online transportation drivers income.
